Dallas, TX, August 6, 2018 – GHR Healthcare announced today that their acute care divisions, General Healthcare Resources and GHR Travel Nursing, earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for Healthcare Staffing Services Certification by demonstrating continuous compliance with its performance standards. The Gold Seal of Approval is a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to providing qualified and competent healthcare professionals.

“It is so rewarding to have our quality and compliance standards recognized in this way,” said Janet Elkin, President and CEO of GHR Healthcare. “We believe that The Joint Commission certification is a reflection of our ongoing commitment to provide the hospitals we serve with compliant, qualified nurses they can depend on. Each and every time.”

Both General Healthcare Resources and GHR Travel Nursing divisions underwent an on-site review of its compliance with national standards that assess how staffing firms determine the qualifications and competency of their staff, how they place their staff, and how they monitor staff’s performance.

“General Healthcare Resources and GHR Travel Nursing have demonstrated their commitment to providing quality healthcare staffing services to healthcare organizations as evidenced by their achievement of Joint Commission certification,” said Patrick Phelan, executive director, Hospital Business Development, The Joint Commission. “We recognized and commend both groups for their effort

The Joint Commission’s certification program, launched in October 2004, offers an independent, comprehensive evaluation of a staffing firm’s abilities to provide competent staffing services.
